Privacy, Data & Security

Where your data lives

Each paying website gets its own dedicated database. Your conversations, knowledge base, and settings are isolated from every other customer's, not pooled in a shared table. This per-site isolation is a core part of how pAInpoint is built.

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) between visitors, the widget, and our servers, and encrypted at rest in our database.

What we store

  • Conversations. Visitor messages and your agent's replies, plus any contact details a visitor shares during an escalation.
  • Knowledge base. The content we read from your site, your custom knowledge, and your always-include facts. Uploaded files are not retained. We extract their text and discard the file.
  • Account & billing. Your profile, settings, and subscription. Invoices are retained for tax and accounting.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from Account → Data & Privacy. The flow:

  1. Open Data & Privacy.
  2. Confirm by typing the confirmation phrase shown on the page.
  3. Click to schedule deletion.

Deletion is scheduled with a 3-day grace period, so you can cancel any time before then from your dashboard. After the grace period, we permanently remove:

  • Your user account and profile.
  • All websites and their AI Chat Agent data.
  • All conversations and knowledge base entries.

Active subscriptions are canceled as part of deletion. Past invoices are retained for tax purposes with personal details removed.
