Customizing Your Agent

Nothing here is required. Your agent works the moment it is installed, and every setting on this page is optional. When you do want to change how it looks or sounds, it is all in the dashboard, never in the install snippet. Open your site, go to Settings, and you will find two areas: General (how it behaves) and Appearance (how it looks).

Tone (General)

Under Settings → General, choose a Preferred tone:

  • Friendly. Warm and conversational.
  • Professional. Concise and businesslike.

This shapes how the agent phrases its answers. You can also set the Business name the agent uses to identify itself; it's captured automatically at setup, and you can override it here.

Appearance editor

Under Settings → Appearance, you control the widget's look. A live preview on the side updates as you edit, so you can see changes before you save.

Live preview

The preview pane shows your widget with the current settings and a sample exchange. The sample is fixed for the preview. Your real visitors see your actual opening prompt and your agent's real replies.

Open automatically

You can have the chat panel open on its own when a visitor lands on your page, with no click required. Turn it on under Settings → Appearance → Open automatically.

  • Per device. Desktop and mobile have separate switches and separate delays, so you can (for example) auto-open after a few seconds on desktop but leave it off on phones.
  • Set the delay in seconds. 0 opens immediately; most sites use a few seconds so the visitor can take in the page first. The maximum is 60 seconds.
  • Once per session. It opens a single time per visit. If the visitor closes the panel it won't pop back open as they browse. It can open again on a later visit in a new browser session.

This is managed entirely from the dashboard; there's no script-tag attribute to add.

Removing pAInpoint branding

By default the widget shows a small "Powered by pAInpoint.solutions" badge. The White-label add-on removes it (+$47/mo on Starter; included on Growth and Pro). See Plans, Billing & Usage.

Saving

Click Save after making changes. The live widget on your site picks up the new look shortly after.
